Alice Elvira Stewart (Norwegian/Swedish)

-Youngest sibling, kinda only child

-Previous dancer, choreographer and instructor

-Creatively driven with an urge to stand out

-Travels and moves around

-Family oriented, very patriotic

-Loves to learn new things (hobbies, knowledge, skills, languages)

👩🏼‍💻 What is your professional background?

-Normal elementary school in Norway

-Middle school with specialisation in sports (dance)

-High school with specialisation in Sociology and English (+ Spanish as second language)

  • First year focused on dancing

  • Second year exchange to England (A-levels Dance, Maths and Sociology)

  • Third year Sociology and two extra classes in English

-The Hague University of Applied Sciences Bachelors in UXD (Communication & Multimedia)

  • 3rd semester at Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) for European project semester. Focused on sustainability, inclusivity and social spaces in the Turia Park

  • Graduation project at Atelier Munro as UX/UI intern. Created a look builder for tailor made clothing

-Masters in Digital Fashion Technologies at AMFI

-I think its more about what field I work in rather than what the actual challenge is (Ex. not passionate about AI, finance/banking, big corp, government)

👩‍🎓Why did you choose this specific programme?

Want to dive into a niche

Market is difficult to enter and therefore I want to find an area I can specialise in to stand out

One year is perfect length as I already feel ready to enter the work field

⏰What do you want to do after the master? And why?

Work as UX/UI designer or another creative role in either an agency, digital studio or cool brand

Want to work on location in the Netherlands in an inspiring work place with talented colleagues

👵In 5-10 years, what contribution do you hope to have made in your field?

I hope I’m an established name that can choose who and what I work with

I aim to design products that match my values and ethics, so that I can proudly share my work and feel that my contributions are successful
